Happy Thoughts :)

Mike shared the other morning about a book he's been reading and how the world encourages us to deeply learn about ourselves and others when we have problems. In contrast, God wants us to seek HIM and His PERFECT WISDOM while giving Him our problems (not over-analyzing them), since He is our ONLY REMEDY and SOLUTION. The more time we spend analyzing ourselves and others, the more we will be discouraged. What's the point of focusing our attention on ourselves and others who are imperfect when we know ONLY God is PERFECT? The more time and energy we invest in our FRIENDSHIP with God (learning by His example of how to love others and bring them GOOD NEWS), the more HOPE, JOY, and PEACE we will experience...and the more MERCY, KINDNESS, and COMPASSION will will have for others. God doesn't label people according to their past, surroundings, personality types, or tendencies. The world LOVES to do this in order to explain behaviors, predict outcomes, provide methods of intervention, etc. God's VICTORY He provides His children is TOO BIG for such limitations. His VICTORY and WISDOM FREES everyone up to LOVE others...and themselves! :) Friendship with God = Freedom to Love.
