Microscope Observations with The Brodster

Brody completed his very first microscope observations today! My mom graciously gave Brody a microscope kit for Christmas, which she bought from a retired high school science teacher last year at a garage sale.

Brody drew his before and after observations of a flower, a leaf, and a rock...all gathered along the way on a bike ride today. Got to love Sid the Science Kid's free printables too! Brody loves Sid!

I have to share for sweet reflection and chronicling the moment...Today when I asked Brody what the opposite of before, he said after. He went on to say that "before" is like David fighting Goliath "before" Jesus died, and "after" is like Paul living "after" Jesus died. That may be smile from the inside out. PRAISE GOD for the connections He is making between the Bible and Brody's life and learning.
