Brody has just started a super fun potty training program, which uses sign language! It is such an enjoyable approach for the whole family. Right now, we are working on one trip to the potty a day for one minute to help establish a familiarity with the potty as well as to establish a routine. It is hilarious to watch Brody laugh while blowing his "Potty Train" whistle, whether he is sitting on his potty or watching his "Potty Train" cartoon. There is a cute board book too that is helping solidify his learning. We will start our two-week intensive (diaper-free AKA "Stay-at-Home-Time") now that he is feeling better, if Brody shows he is ready. The best part about the program is it's based on when Brody is ready, not when society says he is. Like my mom always says, "You know your child best." The older Brody get, the more I am feeling confident with her statement. Moms are awesome for sharing such wisdom!
Here is a video of Brody and his potty!
